Hi,
Love your poems.
It's good that you have a link with you reading.
It means a lot more to hear the poet telling the story.
Don't know why I have your card. Maybe you've been to San Luis Obispo, CA?
Thanks for the poetry.

I really enjoyed your poetry at the jam last night and again this afternoon in Prescott.
Thankyou for your very kind words about mine! I worked in Thousand Oaks at a foxfield riding academy in the summer of 1968.
(It was hillarious that might even make a poem). Thank you again for the encouragement. Charlotte

Gary,
Great seeing you Marianne at Monterey. Great show with R.W. Our Templeton Church Gathering is gone and we certainly miss seeing you guys. We have a new poetry gathering in Longoaks, Ca. about 13b miles out from King City. It's an old red church that was a school in the forties. We had a great local event with ranchers from the area attending. Scott Collins was the headliner. He also attends the church. It wasw a great time. We have to get down to your event next year.
Don't forget to check your cinch..
Best wishes to you and yours for Christmas.

After re-reading your poem "Ruby" I thought I would find your website and just say thank you. I'm a film student at Chapman University and loved hearing you speak at our "Introduction to Storytelling" classes and when I was at my uncle's this weekend (riding horses) I had him read some of your poems. Ruby is for you what his horse Lily is for me, and every time I read that poem, I always think of her. I used to wish she were my horse, but especially after your poem, I see that "she lit this fire in me," and is still giving to him. Again, thanks so much for coming to Chapman University and speaking, and thanks so much for staying a cowboy.
